This is iconic Pasha

Alert as an owl
Unconcerned with the wellbeing of others
unless it means disruption of essential services
like food, water, litter change.
Her life is lived as a queen.
Her royal tail a plume.
Her beauty to be adored.
But wait and hear what wondrous and gut-wrenching cries sound
when another cat enters her boundaries, her Pasha Town.

Return to normalville

Marco: I like this afghan. It cradles me in soft warmth. I want to sleep now so please stop flashing that light in my eyes. Meeeah.

Pasha: I am on my silk sheeted bed receiving your presence. But I will only cooperate for a moment and because you have chosen a good filter for photographing my best side. Well, let's face it, all my sides are plein de grandeur.

When Pasha's not looking, I play with her scratchy catnip box

I'm just a little dude looking for fun.

Look at how BIG my eyes get

See me roll and assume the cuddle position

It gets tiring after a while... all this play

It's been a month

Marco: I'm used to you, are you used to me?

Pasha: No. I will never share my space easily. But you seem to be harmless. Wait, I hate you. Grrrrrrr.

Grounded: Pasha and Marco have lost posting privileges

They are grounded from using the computer this week.
Why? Well, they know why. And let's just say it's about showing some decency and compassion to one's sibs.

In other news, this editor and cat translator has learned that:

  • Marco is easy to call "Little Dude." As in Big Lebowsky Dude. And he is a miniature version of his human father. 'nuff said.
  • Pasha makes the most horrific noises when she is scared and then wets herself a little. And she lives in a Groundhog Day (the movie) world where every morning starts the same as in, there's not another cat here... and then the truth sets in and things get ugly.

Using our spirit animals to ward off evil sibling cats

Marco: I have this pink salamander thingie. Never seen one of these before. But it keeps the puffball from entering my sleep orbit. And I have funky dreams.

Pasha: What fresh hell is this duck that quacks so plaintively. I will look away for to look at it would validate its worth in my life. Quack, hmph!
